Labster

4 months ago (after MUCH begging on my part) my younger brother Brad got a lab puppy! Her name is Labby and I'm in love! Here are a few of my fave photos from her first 4 months!

The last time she and Willow peacefully co-existed, glad I documented it! Now Willow is super growly when Labby gets near her, I think she's just intimidated by Labby's size and energy!

Puppy graduation at Petsmart! She was the best in her class and passed her final with flying colors!

Above celebrating Brad's birthday, and below her favorite way to get a drink!

She may chew on everything, bite all fingers in site, and play a little rough with Willow but I love this girl! I'm so glad Brad got her!

Weekend with the Munoz's

Last month one of my very best friends from Baylor, Kristyna came to visit! She and her husband are considering starting a business and wanted to come to town and see if Houston is a place they could make it work. I love living in Houston, but I always feel like it's hard to explain to people why it's so great here. To me it's just home!
Anyway we had a great time driving around some of the best parts of town, eating Texas steak (chicken for me of course!) and going to an Astros game! It was so fun to spend some time with Abraham, since I'd only met him twice before their wedding last September. Hope they liked Houston enough to move here and start their business!!

Best reception ever!

OK married friends, don't be offended...
Tonight I attended the most creative and fun wedding reception of my life! My friends Laura and Will got married today at a beautiful church, and then had their reception at the Houston Natural Museum of Science! We had SO much fun checking out the giant dinosaur exhibit, reading about all sorts of ocean wildlife, and my favorite was going into the gem exhibit! I saw some of the most beautiful jewelry you could imagine! Laura and Will had their first dance in the middle of the gem hall and it couldn't have been more beautiful! The food was delicious and we had so much fun exploring the museum while the newlyweds mingled!
I was pretty forgetful as far as photos go during the ceremony and sadly never got a picture with the happy couple either! At least at the end we managed to get a few roommate photos in this great setting!

Oh and here's Jenni and me before we went to the rehearsal dinner Friday night. It was held on Rice University's campus, since that's where Laura & Will met. It was absolutely beautiful as well, and again super yummy food! We used this wedding as an excuse to shop for some new dresses, and loved having a reason to get all dressed up for the weekend! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Conrad!
